What motorcycles do you offer for rent and why?
We specialize in adventure-ready Royal Enfield motorcycles, perfect for Norway’s diverse terrain. Norway has limited highways and is all about scenic routes, winding roads, and lower speed limits. Because of this, massive 1100cc+ touring bikes aren’t, in our humble opinion, the best choice. Instead, we believe a mid-range, comfortable, and agile motorcycles are the ideal option for fully enjoying the landscapes without unnecessary bulk or cost.
How does Nordic Riders rental process work?
Counted by Day: Rentals are charged per day.
Flexible Pickup and Return: Pick-up and drop-off at your chosen, pre-aligned time, possible between 9:00-17:00.
Traveling from Abroad? Bring your valid motorcycle license recognized in Norway and your proof of identity (passport or national ID card for EU citizens).
Deposit: A refundable security deposit of 5 000 NOK in cash is required at the time of rental (or equivalent in USD/EUR/GBP).
What is included in your daily rental rate?
All our daily rental rates already include:
Unlimited Mileage – Explore without limits.
Hard Panniers – Carry all your essentials.
Phone Holder – Navigate with ease.
Full Insurance – Ride worry-free.
This is a very high (and for Norway unusual) package of perks already included in the daily rental rate.
How long in advance do I need to make the booking?
It all depends on when you are planning to come, for how long, and with how many people.
For guided tour operators wanting to rent out our whole fleet, we recommend booking as early as a year in advance.
For individuals and larger groups planning tours during July or August, you might need to book more than 6 months in advance to secure your dates and enough bikes.
For a solo rider coming in May for 5 days, you should be fine to book a few weeks in advance.
Where can I pick up the motorcycle?
We offer free motorcycle pick-ups at our garage or motorcycle pick-ups directly at Oslo Gardermoen airport for extra charge.
How can I obtain the lowest rates listed on your website?
The most economical rates we offer are for longer period rentals (10 days +) during shoulder months.
Can I leave my extra luggage at your garage while riding?
Yes. You can leave your extra suitcase with us free of charge.
Can I ride on your motorcycle from Norway to other Nordic countries?
Yes, with our written permission reqested at least 3 days before pickup. For providing the necessary international documentation and insurance certificates, a fee of 400 NOK (excl. VAT) applies.
You are responsible for bringing and sourcing any mandatory safety gear (e.g., reflective vests or first aid kits) required by the countries you visit. Travel to Russia, Belarus, Kosovo, and the Asian part of Turkey remains strictly prohibited.
